After 24+ years with BlackRock, the world’s leading asset manager, Mr. Collier recently set out on a journey o personal growth and exploration.

While at BlackRock, he served in a variety of roles in Toronto, New York and San Francisco. His BlackRock journey  started as the first lawyer hired by the firm in Toronto and he spent two and a half decades growing the depth and breadth of his knowledge across a variety of control functions, serving as Chief Operating Officer for multiple businesses and leading sales, product and corporate teams. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Collier was an actively involved leader in BlackRock’s philanthropic and community engagement efforts in multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Collier was a corporate law associate at Torys in Toronto where his practice came to focus on asset management. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a J.D. and from York University with a  B.A. (Hons).

Born and raised in north, central British Columbia, Warren loves the outdoors, exploring new places and learning new things. He has two daughters who both live near him in Ontario who he adores and has recently become engaged to  the woman with whom he has been sharing his journey of growth and exploration
